WDW 9.12.13 Recap

I am at the Walt Disney World Resort for the 13 Reflections of Evil Trading Event. I decided to do a daily recap each night of what I did. So here we go!

9.12.13

My flight from Pittsburgh to Orlando went smoothly! No delays which is always good. I arrived at MCO around 12:30. I had a slice of pizza and then it was off to magical express!

We arrived at our resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort, around 2:30. And it was raining.. We checked in and went to our room. We have a garden view and the room/resort is beautiful! Lots of hidden mickeys.

After checking in we decided to check out the boardwalk. This is my first time staying at this resort. We went to the bakery and I got a cannoli! Yummy. Then we hit up the arcade since it was still raining and played some games. I also bought a refillable mug will the new RFID chip in it. Very cool process. After that we hit up the screen door gift shop and bought a few souvenirs.

On the way back to our room I decided to taking a dip in the pool. It was still raining at this point. I rode the slide which was awesome and then left. After changing at the room we caught a bus to downtown disney!

At Downtown Disney we went straight to T-Rex Cafe for dinner. I got the grilled chicken flatbread and French onion soup. After that I purchased my annual pass and went shopping. I also went to the pin store and bought a few mystery pouches! So fun.

After grabbing a premium Mickey ice cream bar we headed back to the resort. We chilled on the boardwalk and I went for a night swim. Overall it was a successful first day! Stayed tuned for tomorrow.
