Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour Pin - Disneyland® Resort

While we were visiting the Disneyland Resort during the D23 EXPO 2015, we decided to do the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour!

This is a very exciting tour about Walt Disney and life at his park, Disneyland. First, let me show you the exclusive Disney pin that guests receive that is included with the tour!

I believe this pin has been refreshed due to the 2015 stamp on the back and the Disneyland 60th anniversary diamond on the front card. The Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour pin is a mini jumbo hinged pin. Very great quality! It opens up to the partners statue on the left and the opening day welcome speech from Walt Disney on the right.

Here is a look at the back of the pin. It has a gold Mickey waffle print, two pin backs and a dated stamp of 2015.

Overall the tour was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it! My favorite part was touring the Disneyland Dream Suite above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. This was going to be one of Walt Disney's family homes. Unfortunately he passed away a few months before construction was completed.

Today it is the Dream Suite where sweepstakes winners and Make a Wish children can stay for a night. It is beautifully decorated and each room has a "Goodnight Kiss" button on the wall that makes the room very interactive! We weren't allowed to take pictures, but the cast member was able to take one of us in the family room.
