Tokyo Disney Doll's Day Pins

New Hinamatsuri Pins at Tokyo Disney Resort

In celebration of Hinamatsuri, Tokyo Disney Resort recently released these new pins for 2015!

Hinamatsuri is a special day celebrated in Japan also known as Doll's Day or Girls' Day. This day is celebrated every year on March 3. Platforms are covered with a red carpet which display different types of ornamental dolls. These dolls represent the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional dress of the Heian period. Pretty neat!

The two pins above are open editions and should be available until Doll's Day on March 3, 2015. One pin depicts Mickey Mouse and the other is Minnie Mouse, both characters are dressed in a doll-like fashion.
