The End of an Era

We received sad news today in the pin community. The beloved Scoop Sanderson on Main Street, U.S.A in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World® Resort will no longer be making appearances.

Earlier this year we found out that he would no longer be pin trading with guests, but would still be the press for Main Street. Disney has now decided to remove Scoop Sanderson from Main Street all together. The rumored last day for Scoop is October 8, 2016. Comments from the actor, Holland Hayes, state that he will sub when available for vacations and call-outs.

Scoop Sanderson has been the face in the pin trading community for years in Florida but now it seems all good things must come to an end. He will truly be missed. Here is a picture of myself meeting Scoop outside of the Confectionery on Main Street back in 2014.
