The River Roost.

Yes...If you haven't been to the River Roost, do yourself a favor and go! The River Roost is a bar/lounge at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort.

I stayed at Port Orleans back in March 2013 and I hit up the River Roost almost every night of my stay for a beer or cocktail. It is a great way to unwind and listen to the live music. The atmosphere is very relaxed. They have tables and couches available. The piano man that plays nightly is very entertaining as well!

Most of the beverages are southern-inspired. I had a few of the Abita Lagers and also tried some of the specialty drinks. In the picture below is a Mai Tai on the left and an Abita Lager on the right.

I also tried the Magical Star cocktail which had hints of pineapple and lime. It came with a color changing LED inside of the drink! Here is a picture:

If you have the opportunity, be sure to stop by the River Roost on your next Walt Disney World vacation for a drink and good times!
