Additional GenEARation D 2015 Pin Event News

Today, 9/3/15, additional GenEARation D pin event news was sent out via email to guests attending the event. Here is a recap as Disney prepares for the festivities!

New Additions:

• All Guests wishing to participate in the silent auction must sign up at the event desk. Guests will be provided with a personal auction number and a copy of the auction rules.
• There will be an onsite RSP for the final pin of the GenEARation D countdown series and the first pin in the countdown series for next year’s event. (Theme to be revealed during the Pin Talk on Friday at 11 a.m.) Guests will find this form in their registration packet and it should return it to the event registration desk no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11. Results will be available at the event registration desk at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 12.
• To keep a fair trading environment, please take your turn as soon as you are able and do not wait for the boards to be refreshed. Guests doing so will forfeit their turn and will be asked to move to the back of the line.
• In an effort to more closely align the Florida Pin Trading with our California partners, we have moved to a tabbed activity experience. Each Guest’s credential has four trading tabs for Friday and four trading tabs for Saturday. Each tab will allow you to trade up to two pins within your 60 second trading time, as in the past, and must be used by 5:00 p.m. on the date listed.
• The new series of event pins normally collected on the trading boards will be provided to each Guest as a complete set at registration.
• During the breakfast, registered breakfast Guests will not be limited to a set number of trades and will not need to use tabs; however, at 10:00 a.m., Guests will be required to start using pin trading tabs regardless of where you are in the line. Cast Members will monitor the lines and will remind Guests as 10:00 a.m. approaches!

Reminders:

• Guests, including children, must register in person, and all Guests 18 & over will need to present a government-issued photo ID and/or proof of discount to pick up their event packets. Early registration will begin on Thursday, September 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Convention Center and will remain open until 7:00 p.m. Main registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11 at World ShowPlace and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12. (Theme park admission is required but not included.)
• Please note that only Guests listed as checking in on Thursday, September 10 will have their merchandise available at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Guests that have selected later dates will not have their merchandise at the resort.
• Items not permitted inside the park:
  • Wagons, scooters or any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV, wheelchair or stroller
  • Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" x 15" x 18" (61 x 38 x 46 cm)
  • Strollers larger than 36" x 52" (92 x 132 cm)
  • Folding chairs
