Disney, you’re just about dead to me.
Logged on at 630 and there these were. Tried to buy them and even though my card is stored, is a Disney Visa, and has been used for maybe 30 purchases on shop Disney it kept getting declined. Checked my account. All good. no reason it shouldn’t go through. Finally changed devices and by then remy was sold out, but it went through just fine. Anxiously awaiting the email telling me everything was actually sold out like I got last week. The board still hasn’t shipped. Maybe it is sold out too? Between the board, the I collect pin and these I should be getting 3 huge boxes from Disney soon. All with no packing, just a single pin floating around in an 18 x 18 x 12 box…… again.
If it hasn’t shipped yet, call them back and cancel the order. The very second I saw these I thought “oh good, another limited edition collector series that will be impossible to buy.” Just collecting one series is expensive at retail price. And these always end up sold out and on the resale market. Imagine being successful for every series launch despite the struggle, but then unable to buy the completing set! Then you’re stuck paying eBay prices to complete an already expensive set! And if people didn’t pay those insane prices in the first place, people wouldn’t buy just to resale. Just don’t start collecting these special releases. Besides, 5 years from now, those pins will be on eBay at $1 each coming out of Hong Kong.

I was looking on shop Disney for something else and all 4 of the first week pins were there. That was including the 2 that they refunded me for saying they oversold. Now there they are again. It let me check out with them, but again it didn’t take my card. Logged in with my husband’s account where my card is also stored and it went through.
Still waiting for shipping of the board, the Pooh I collect, the 3 I got of last week’s 4 pins, and the one pin I bought yesterday. I bought the board 10 days ago too…..
