Finally some good news for Disney Parks! Disney Parks Blog announced today that Shanghai Disneyland will begin phased reopening on May 11, 2020!
Shanghai Disney Resort closed on January 26, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They saw the first phase of reopening on March 9, 2020 with Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.
Social distancing, capacity limits, and extended cleaning will be in place. We are happy to see the first Disney Park in the world reopen, and excited to see which parks will follow next as COVID-19 continues to slow down.
