Love those Hocus Pocus pins. Where do what shop are they sold in at MNSSHP?
Emporium/Frontier trading post are sure fire bets and the limited release event pin is basically available everywhere that might sell pins in MK.

Aw man, every year I enjoy buying a Chernabog or Headless Horseman halloween pin. I was hoping we’d get more villain representation this year. Who am I kidding though, I’ll probably buy a Jafar or Captain Hook pin. Still, more Chernabog please Disney. Especially around Halloween.
Do you have any idea about the prices (in particular the six pin framed set) or will we have to wait until opening night?
Don’t have prices yet but last years framed set was $275 so it will probably be similar.
I will be going to this event early this year as we went the first week of October last year and almost all of pins were sold out…

They are sold out early so people can buy lots of them to sell on ebay! I had one friend there the first night last year and went to buy pins at the end of the evening and some pins were already sold out. I guess Disney doesn’t care about us loyal members as long as the pins get sold. At a release of 4100 pins and 36 nights of MNSSHP that would be 114 pins per night. The odds are not in your favor unless you go early and buy your pins first thing. If 4100 pins can sell out in one night or within one week, how do they expect them to last the entire run? I keep expressing my concerns to Disney but never get a reply. So much for good customer service.
It’s all a form of marketing. Purposely they will NEVER make enough pins of the limited editions. This keeps the desire & want in constant demand. It also justifies a price increase every year. I am sure Disney doesn’t create ONLY the limited number they say they do, at least not of all of the series. Surely any pin collector has noticed there are always a few in the series which seem to always be available – so much so that they end up in the discount stores in Orlando a month or two after the party. As Robert pointed out 4100 pins would justify only 114 pins sold per party. What Robert DIDN’T take into consideration is the 1000 Boxed Sets and the 500 Framed sets available which means, the single pins only have 2600 available each. NOW THAT leaves only 72 pins available for sale average per party. As you can see from Ebay, there are already SEVERAL resellers who bought the “limit” of 10 items each. If they only printed 2600 of each pin outside the boxed and framed sets – those pins would sell out within the first 5 or 6 parties. However, watch everything be available at least til the first week of October! My suggestion is do like all the local passholders, go to the first party to ensure your merchandise. You can also do like them and buy extra to resell and end up getting yours free or drastically discounted. It’s obvious from the sales on ebay that people DESPERATE to get the merchandise and spend LOTS of extra money on it. I don’t think it’s FAIR, but this is how Disney markets their merchandise and its obviously working, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing it this way. Personally, if its available when I get there, I’ll get it. I refuse to give into the constant hype of resale.
Do you have a poster for OBB somewhere?
Just so people are aware, the $295 framed set has an Evil Queen completer pin in it that is of a lesser quality than the one offered in the cheaper $100 set. This is in the framed set I purchased at MNSSHP and the sets I’ve seen images of online too. The eyes on the more expensive one are just large black orbs and lack all the detail that the cheaper completer queen pin has. She looks comically bug-eyed in the framed set. Is this a quality error?
Going in a week where can I find the passholder pin. Hoping to get that one and a couple other ones
Need help completing the mystery pin set. Looking for Mickey pumpkin. Have doubles of everyone but Mickey. Looking to trade.
