The pins for this event are gorgeous and have low edition sizes. Pins can be purchased only if you attend the event through a Random Selection Process.
Hope to see you there!

will any of the of those pins be sold outside the gala…
I am confused on how the random selection process works. I have never attended an event like this before. The one pin I really want is the enchanted rose pin. That would really be the only reason I would spend the money to go.
There are other pins that I would purchase if I had the opportunity while there, but what are my chances of at least getting the one pin I want? Are all those pins listed just randomly drawn? Or are there mystery pins that are random and the listed ones sold to the first to arrive?
Please help. I need to know if it is a worthwhile investment considering my heart is really just set on one pin.
Thanks
Hi Alaina,
The annual pin trading event at Epcot is held at the World Showplace convention center. This year’s event theme is, Imagination Gala. It is a two day pin event and registration is $140. The price includes event registration, pin trading activities, opportunity to make RSP on select pin merchandise, silent auction, special event pins, artist pin signing, $30 Disney gift card and a limited edition commemorative gift.
You have to pay the $140 to attend the event and beforehand you can make your RSP on the themed merchandise pins. Basically you just pick which pins you would want to buy. Since the LE’s are so low and many people attend the event, Disney has to do the Random Selection Process for rare pins. A couple weeks before the event, they do the RSP and then you pay for the pins you got. You may get all of the pins you wanted, or just a few. It all depends, and then you pick your pins up at the event.
If you just want the enchanted rose pin, then it’s probably not worth it for you to attend. Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Ryan
