Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Reopens!
Today, May 20, 2020, Disney Springs in the World Disney World® Resort in Florida reopened! Disney Springs closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak. After 64 days of being closed, Walt Disney World has begun the first phase of reopening.
The reopening only included third party tenants, not Disney owned stores and restaurants. We had to make a stop by the beloved Disney’s Pin Traders store though!
We do not know if Disney’s Pin Traders will be included with the Disney owned locations next week on May 27, 2020. There were social distancing markers on the ground around the store so we hope it’s included in the reopening!
After a quick loop around Disney Springs, we stopped for lunch at T-REX Cafe. Capacity was limited to 50% and social distancing markers were on the ground outside.
The reopening was very well organized and it felt so good to be back at Disney! If you don’t mind wearing a mask, temperature checks, and social distancing then you’re good to go.
