The Goofy Movie pin… …when they say LE 5000, does that mean 2500 at DL and 2500 at WDW, a total of 5,000, or 5,000 at DL and 5,000 at WDW, a total of 10,000?
It means 5000 total. Not sure exactly how they divvy those up amongst the two, but it’s a total of 5000. I’ve gotten a box set from MNSSHParty that is an “LE 1000”, but the completer says LE 1500 on the back because that completer is also in a frame set which was an LE 500 (1000+500). Even if 2000 were sold at one place and 3000 were sold at another, it is still an LE of 5000. Hope that helps!
Where at Disneyland could you buy them? Is it a specific store or booth?
Alex: Pin traders in Downtown Disney, Emporium, and Westward Ho Trading Co. are all safe bets.
To add to what Nick W. posted, there’s also Store Command in Disneyland, plus at DCA there’s Julius Katz & Sons, Embarcadero, and Humphrey’s.
When they say LE 5000, that is the total amount of pins that are manufactured; no more or no less. I am not sure how many pins are distributed to each coast but there is a total of 5000.
I hope we get some new 2020 hidden mickey pins soon. I do really like the I collect stitch pin though. Hopefully when the new hidden mickey pins do get released they are as well thought out as wave c was. They tend to focus on using the same characters over and over it seems.
Is the big droid factory r2-d2 pin not this month?
Also how are the heruniverse star wars pins being sold? The preview said it was sold in the parks on march 8th. Is it actually in the parks? The heruniverse website?
Where is the best place in the park to purchase new pin releases? Specifically annual passholder pins.
So with Disneyland closed is there now no way to get any of the upcoming March releases?? Maybe the pin trader outside of the park on the Disney walk?? Any ideas or thoughts?
Should still be available at Disney’s Pin Traders at Downtown Disney. We are trying to get confirmation though.
Will these releases be canceled now that Pin Traders is closing too?

Did you find out if Pin Trader’s in DTD is closed as well for tomorrow’s releases?
All disney is closed, even the disney stores in the malls. So only shop disney is open, but we don’t know anything about how the pins from today, till they open things back up, haven’t been released yet.
So I’m assuming World of Disney is closed too. That will mean a lot of pins will be at the parks–theoretically–whenever they open. I don’t think it will be at the end March–I’m sure they’ll be closed in April too, if not longer. It might be busy for pin traders when they do re-open!
They’ll have to cancel the Eggstravaganza, which has become one of my favorite things. Maybe they can postpone it to July–Easter in July. It has a ring to it.

I bought a 3/19 presale on eBay before the parks closed. Today, they messaged me explaining that when they went to pick up 3/19’s pin release at the Contemporary they were informed by a merchandise coordinator that the remainder of Marches pin releases will all be released at once when the parks resume operation.
Thanks for the info ummyeahok. I wish they would still print the flyers with a note–available when the parks reopen. I would just like to see what they look like–especially the monthly pins. In this time of isolation and everything being closed–I would at least like to look at the upcoming pins–assuming they will actually be available when Disney reopens, even if it’s months in the future. Does admin know if the flyers will still be released?
They have probably already been paid for–although I know contracts often make arrangements for things like this. April’s releases may have already been sent because China’s economy has reopened a bit and I assume they work ahead anyway. A lot of merchandise is planned, ordered and made a year in advance.

Does anyone know if the easter pins are hinged?
I am a newer pin trader, how do you know which pins are being released each month? Where can I purchase the pins on the poster? I do not live near Orlando, could the be purchased online?

Is anyone still anxiously awaiting the Splash Mountain Parks Cruiser Pin and the Lotso Pin from March? I feel like when we finally start seeing them on eBay they’ll be a bajillion dollars. 🙁
