I got so spoiled being able to buy pins online through ShopDisney. Now I have to beg if anybody going to the Parks on July 17th and/or 30th is willing to buy me the Disney Pin Trading 20th Anniversary countdown pins. I NEED Goofy, Daisy and Chip. Especially Chip; I already have Dale and they are among my top 5 favorite characters.
It looks like you can still buy these online! I’m not sure if they will have these at downtown yet.
Will MerchPass be available? They should offer it to all LE products. I’m interested, but am worried it will be a complete failure like all my previous attempts.
Merchpass was such a bust. I know 5 people who tried for the castle pin. There are over 300 on eBay with prices up to $175. Hundreds sold too. It seems it sells around $70. eBay is only 1 venue for flippers to sell it too. Not one of the 5 got the right to buy one, but thousands of flippers got one? I think Disney should offer a progressive pre sale. Day1 the pin presale is $100 dollars. Day 2 it’s $90 and so on. It would kill the speculative market.
