Why does this pin cost $25?
It seems lately that some pins have gotten more expensive 25 each or more. It did not seem to be a popular line but the retro toy pins, were over 25 dollars and also the recent limited edition Pluto poster pins were between 17 and 25+ dollars. It seems like Disney’s new way, higher price for limited edition pins. Because the Stitch series is a limited quantity per release, similar to the Minnie collection and the Aliens from Toy Story.
Not off to a good start. My MerchPass was not chosen. Fingers crossed to luck out on 1/21 when it goes to open sale.
Thanks @PurpleAmanada. It’s just hard to keep up with the price increases.
Btw, it’s back on the shopdisney site if anyone wants it. I guess it didn’t sell out on merch pass.
I was not chosen for Merch pass either. I ordered mine today at 9:41 am and they appear to still be available. I had to order it since Stitch is one of my favorite characters and same with my husband. So if you still want to purchase them, they are still available
I noticed that as well, the prices on desirable pins are getting higher and higher. Like I was used to paying like 14, 16 dollars, not 25 for a pin. It is an extremely neat looking collection and concept, I skipped out on buying the Minnie mouse collection and the Toy Story Aliens. Another high price collection so far, I saw was the Disney castles, the case alone was over 60 dollars. I love my princesses especially Ariel, but not interested in spending a lot of money to buy castle pins.
