I have a general question about collecting Disney movie pins. Besides the various Disney corporate units who issue pins (parks, soda fountain, imagineering, studios), do you also include non-Disney companies?
In particular, I am looking at the upcoming Disney movie, Tomorrowland. Funko has made two nice looking pins. Chevrolet gave a Tomorrowland pin at their exhibit at the New York Auto Show. That pin resembles the pin that the Parks gave out to Annual Passholders at Epcot and Disneyland previews last week. There is also possibility that Regal, AMC, and IMAX may have their own Tomorrowland movie pins. Would these pins be considered to be “Disney” pins?April 20, 2015 at 10:29 PM - Views: 26 #5771
I believe those pins are still considered Disney pins as long as there is a Disney copyright stamp on the back. I know I had a few extra AMC movie theater Baymax pins and traded them with Cast Members at WDW.April 23, 2015 at 2:36 AM - Views: 22 #5794
