ParticipantHello – just curious if anyone has any experience with Disney season passes or vacation club membership. Just returned from a 6 day stay in Disney and already itching to get back. I didn’t realize we could have upgraded our tickets while we were there 🙁
We live in NJ, so I guess I’m looking for some cost effective solutions to get to Disney more often. Thank you!August 21, 2016 at 8:02 PM #13735Admin
KeymasterHey! Yes, I’m an Annual Passholder. For me, I think going at least twice a year for five days each trip pays for itself. It’s nice because you can hop around to all of the parks and if you just want to go for an evening it is great as well.
I would definitely consider it if you plan on going to WDW more often. 🙂

ParticipantIn addition to what the Admin posted above, I might also add that an Annual Pass (regular or through DVC), will also get you a 10% discount at some stores and restaurants, as well as the Photo Pass. All enhancements to entice you to come more often.

Thank you! I do appreciate that an AP will provide discounts. We used the photopass for our most recent trip and really enjoyed being able to take advantage of the photographers!

Yes! I agree with you. You pointed out great advice. Disney Annual Passes do pay for themselves after 2 5-day visits. They come loaded with fun perks as well! 20% off merchandise, discounts on dining, PhotoPass+ included, and access to purchase exclusive ANNUAL PASS MEMBER PINS! What more can you ask for ?! It is a steal!
