Hello! I’m a newbie to pin trading (first trade 3/30/2016), and interested in knowing more about the Pixar Party Event. Is this something that will have an agenda with discussion groups? Or is it all about the trading?
I saw that there will be vouchers to look at the boards. What does that mean? A limit on the amount of time to look, for a limited number of “ups” to the board? What makes this weekend more mentionable than other weekends? The number of new and/or limited edition pins that will be released? Will the increased trading opportunities extend to the other Disney Parks?
My family and I would like to make another trip, and any description you could give would help us make a decision about when to do it.

Hello! The Pixar Party is mainly about the pin trading but there will also be a segment about the new pin releases for the coming year. They also have a silent auction and pin preview boards.
The vouchers are used to have access to the pin trading boards. Basically this regulates how many times you can go through the lines. It also helps with crowd control so you aren’t standing in line as long. Average is about 45 mins in line. Each person has 1 minute to look at the board and select two pins to trade. You can get a lot of great pins on the board, especially rare LE and AP pins. AP stands for Artist Proof which is more rare. It is only in one location which is the convention center at Epcot. Think of it as a convention for pin traders!
