I know it’s early but I’m wondering what everyone’s best guess for nexts years Pin event at Epcot will be? My wife and I are planning our first pin event and will have a 4 month with us by then. I want to plan and book as early as possible in the hopes of getting the easiest and best accommodations possible for the event in terms of logistics and getting around. If you were to guess and book now, what dates would you book? Where would you book for the event with a 4 month old. Thanks for the help.October 1, 2018 at 8:46 AM - Views: 246 #35434Chris71855Participant
If I HAD to guess, I would say its going to be either the week before or week after it was last year. The only thing we know for sure is that it WONT be the same weekend it was last year. They did say during the event that they wouldn’t do it the same weekend of D23 in California. Im hoping personally its the week after. (Labor Day Weekend) I generally plan a vacation for this weekend already so would be great for me!October 14, 2018 at 2:14 PM - Views: 242 #35974MattParticipant
How soon does Disney confirm the dates (8 months out, 6 months out, etc)? This will be my first pin event too and I am anxious to get a room booked and plans made. After seeing all the fun events and things from this year, I am really looking forward to going next year. I am new to the pin community, just having collected maybe 20 pins from four or five previous trips to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but now I am on board fully for collecting a few pins. 🙂October 18, 2018 at 7:54 PM - Views: 264 #36105Figment919Participant
With the EPCOT Food & Wine event now starting in late August I would say that they would not put it later than they did this year. The earlier start to F&W was the reason it was moved in the first place from the weekend after Labor day. I would bet on it being earlier in August BUT I would not make any travel commitments until you get the official word from Disney.
